Relief Emergency Response Team Officer (Fire & Security)
Location: Goodwood
Pay Rate: £14.89
Hours: 12‑hour shifts (days/nights/weekends)
A multi‑skilled role combining security, fire response, and first aid responsibilities.
Training
* First Response Emergency Care (FREC 3) – 5 days
* Medical Gases (Oxygen and Entonox) – 2 days (or integrated within FREC 3)
* Basic Fire Training – 2 days
* Breathing Apparatus Training – 5 days
Responsibilities
* Provide a visible and proactive security presence
* Respond quickly and effectively to fires, first aid incidents, and environmental emergencies
* Maintain and inspect emergency equipment to operational standards
* Conduct internal and external patrols, searches, and incident reporting
* Support compliance with health, safety, and security policies
Qualifications
Essential Requirements:
* Full, clean UK driving licence
* Valid SIA frontline licence (fully funded)
* Ability to pass a medical and fitness test (including suitability for breathing apparatus)
* Professional appearance and positive attitude
* Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
* Ability to pass security vetting and random drug/alcohol testing
* Basic/intermediate IT skills
Desirable:
* FREC 3 medical qualification (if already held)
Note: Due to breathing apparatus requirements, candidates must remain clean‑shaven or maintain a tightly trimmed goatee‑style beard to ensure equipment compatibility.
