A well-established food manufacturer based in Staffordshire is continuing to invest in its operations and is now looking to appoint an experienced Production Manager to support the ongoing growth of the site. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced, complex manufacturing environment and play a key role in leading production performance across a large operation.
The successful Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing production activities across a busy site, ensuring high standards of food safety, quality, efficiency and team engagement are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and develop large production teams across multiple departments and production lines
* Ensure full compliance with food safety, quality and hygiene standards, particularly within high care and high risk environments
* Manage operational KPIs including productivity, waste, labour efficiency and service levels
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production performance and operational efficiency
* Work closely with technical, engineering, planning and supply chain teams to ensure smooth daily operations
* Maintain strong leadership presence on the factory floor, supporting team leaders and supervisors
* Ensure the site remains fully compliant with health & safety, GMP and audit standards
About You
* Proven experience working as a Production Manager within food manufacturing
* Strong leadership experience managing large teams within a complex manufacturing site
* Solid understanding of high care and high risk food production environments
* A confident and proactive leader who can motivate teams and drive operational performance
* Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives within production operations
