This full-time, permanent position has a starting salary of £47,142 per annum based on a 36-hour working week.

We have an exciting strategic and professional opportunity for a Facilities and Contract Performance Officer to join our fantastic Workplace and Facilities team. You will be joining a team that values professional development and supports a commercial and agile approach to its diverse portfolio.

The team are based at our Woodhatch office in Reigate and the role is open to hybrid working. As a team we split our time between working from home and collaborating together in the office. Due to the nature of the work we do, the team operates in a flexible way to meet the needs of our customers, using agile working methods that allow business to be conducted from multiple locations.

The Workplace and Facilities team, part of our Land and Property Service, provides essential services to the council, partners, schools, and tenants. From building maintenance and estate management to asset and facilities management, we look after a diverse range of properties across Surrey. We also manage the Council's Facilities Management contract.

As a Facilities and Contract Performance Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth contract monitoring and operational oversight of our NEC4 FM contracts (Hard and Soft services). Reporting to the Business Improvement Manager, you'll work closely with Workplace and Facilities colleagues and collaborate with teams across Health and Safety, Estates Management, Capital Projects, and Minor Works to support strategic decision-making. You'll also partner with our service provider to deliver the Schools Buyback scheme and ensure school compliance.

What You'll Be Doing

10. Turning data into insights by gathering, analysing, and validating information for management reports
11. Creating dashboards and trackers to monitor service delivery and support governance
12. Auditing supplier output to identify gaps, assure quality, and drive continuous improvement
13. Supporting the Workplace and Facilities team by reporting with accurate, high-quality information
14. Managing budgets and approving Buyback scheme data for schools and academies
15. Checking quarterly financial reports and validating supplier invoices
16. Reconciling year-end positions with SCC Finance and preparing for audits by tracking deliverables and milestones

Your Application

In order to be considered for shortlisting, your application will clearly evidence the following skills and align with :

17. Facilities Management experience, including compliance and relevant Health and Safety legislations and policies
18. Experience of implementing processes, standards and governance
19. Understanding of project management and delivery, including NEC4 FM experience
20. Experience of analytics, data management, dashboards and trackers
21. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
22. Good IT skills, including MS packages
23. Knowledge of financial monitoring
