I have a fantastic opportunity for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a heavy, high-volume production site in Bilston near Wolverhampton. My client is well established within its field and produces some big brand products for Screwfix, B&Q and Wickes. They are looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer who will have an understanding of Siemens S7 and have worked in a heavy engineering environment. This position would be ideal for someone with plant maintenance skills and a good knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
Maintenance Engineer Benefits
* £48,000 (£50,589 with lifestyle payment).
* OT at premium rates (x1.5).
* £47.08 lifestyle payment (paid every rostered weekend day).
* Product specific training. (Siemens S7)
* 23 days holiday.
Maintenance Engineer Duties
* Make improvements to production.
* To always maintain manufacturing machinery.
* To ensure all data recording and feedback is completed accurately and on time.
* Preventive maintenance.
* Installation work where necessary.
* To maintain safe working practices at all times.
* To undertake training as required.
* Mechanical and electrical fault finding.
Maintenance Engineer Requirements
* Recognised Engineering Qualifications.
* Hydraulics and Pneumatics.
* Heavy engineering background.
* Welding (advantageous).
* Strong fault-finding abilities.
