Production Operatives - Food Manufacturing
Widnes (West Bank) | £12.21 per hour | Monday to Friday (occasional Saturdays) | Temp to Perm
Acorn by Synergie is proud to be recruiting Production Operatives on a temp-to-perm basis for a respected food manufacturing client in the West Bank area of Widnes.
Our client is a leading wholesale bacon curing company, specialising in both Dry Cured and Tank Cured bacon and gammon. Supplying wholesalers and butchers across the UK, they are known for high-quality produce and fast, efficient service.

Key Duties:
Operating food production machinery.
Packing and labelling products to specification.
Following strict food hygiene and health & safety guidelines.
Working as part of a production team to meet dispatch deadlines.
Completing hygiene and clean-down duties.
Performing basic quality checks.
Requirements:
Manual handling experience.
Good awareness of food hygiene and general health & safety practices.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Positive, proactive, and hands-on attitude.
Previous production experience, ideally within a food manufacturing environment (preferred).
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 7am - 3:30pm.
Tuesday & Thursday extended shifts until 6pm.
Some Saturday work may be required, depending on business needs.
Pay & Progression:
Starting rate: £12.21 per hour.
Pay increase after successful completion of the probation period.
Weekly pay through Acorn by Synergie.
