Business Analyst

We’re excited to be recruiting for a Business Analyst to join our growing team, supporting high-impact change and transformation initiatives within the Lloyd’s and London Market insurance sector.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a BA who understands the unique structures, processes and data flows of the London Market and enjoys working across change, operations and technology projects.
You’ll work onsite in London on a hybrid model, collaborating directly with specialists, underwriters, brokers, and internal stakeholders to support the delivery of critical business and systems initiatives.
What you'll be doing
* Gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements for London Market change initiatives
* Mapping AS-IS and TO-BE processes across underwriting, claims, operations, policy admin or data workflows
* Supporting system enhancements, migrations, integrations or BI/reporting improvements
* Working with cross-functional teams including Underwriting, Claims, Ops, Data, Tech and Project Delivery
* Facilitating workshops, user story creation, backlog refinement and sprint planning
* Assisting with UAT planning, test execution and business readiness
* Producing clear business artefacts – process maps, BRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria
What We’re Looking For
* Proven Lloyd’s / London Market insurance experience (essential)
– e.g. Specialty lines, delegating authority, underwriting, claims, placements, bordereaux, etc.
* Strong business analysis skills with experience delivering change in complex environments
* Ability to work closely with both technical and business teams
* Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery models
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive
Eligibility
* Must have full Right to Work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
* Must be able to commute to London on a hybrid basis (2–3 days per week depending on project needs)
