An opportunity has arisen for a role within our Carmarthen office as a trainee accountant. The role will suit not only a graduate just finishing University but would also suit an A level leaver whom has chosen not to go to University.
The firm is a x10 staff firm across x2 offices and this particular role is offered at our Carmarthen office. We have in excess of 500 clients from all sectors and across the UK which will give the candidate a great and varied exposure to numerous types of clients and types of work exposure. We provide services to sole traders, partnerships, universities, venture capitalists and limited companies with turnovers varying and up to circa £15 million as well as other types of clients under a significant Capital Expenditure regime.
The succesful candidate will have full on the job training and on successful completion of a probationary period, would be offered a full training contract within the practice in order to continue their studies to qualify as an ACCA accountant with a full study package and financial support included for study costs and additional time off for study leave.
In the first instance we would expect candidates to be highly motivated and interested in the accountancy industry and with minimum qualifications in English and Mathematics.
You will be trained in the first instance in preparing VAT returns, management accounts, bookkeeping services, accounts completion, limited company accounts, payroll and other associated services as and when you progress.
