Overview
Microsoft House is seeking a talented and driven Cloud Engineer to join its Glasgow-based team. This permanent role offers a hybrid working model, requiring one day onsite per week. You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based solutions using Microsoft technologies, with a focus on O365, M365, and Azure. This is the Azure Cloud Engineer role at TieTalent.
Responsibilities
* Design and deploy scalable cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure.
* Manage and optimize Microsoft 365 and Office 365 environments.
* Ensure security, compliance, and governance across cloud platforms.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud transformation projects.
* Monitor system performance and troubleshoot cloud-related issues.
* Automate tasks and processes using scripting tools (e.g., PowerShell).
* Stay current with Microsoft cloud innovations and best practices.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a Cloud Engineering role, ideally within enterprise environments.
* Strong hands-on expertise with:
o Microsoft Azure (IaaS, PaaS, networking, identity)
o Office 365 and Microsoft 365 administration
o Azure Active Directory, Intune, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online
o Experience with cloud security, monitoring, and automation.
o Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, CLI).
* Relevant certifications (e.g., AZ-104, MS-100, MS-101) are highly desirable.
