Job Title: Project Planner - National Grid Substation Project
Location: Pembroke
Duration: 7 months Contract
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Planner to join a major National Grid substation construction project in Wales. The successful candidate will play a key role in planning and scheduling works, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within scope.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop, update, and maintain detailed project plans using Primavera P6.
2. Collaborate with engineering, construction, and commercial teams to coordinate activities and track progress.
3. Identify project risks and delays; propose mitigation strategies.
4. Produce regular progress reports for internal and external stakeholders, including National Grid.
5. Ensure compliance with project timelines, milestones, and reporting requirements.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Planner on large-scale infrastructure or energy projects.
2. Extensive knowledge of substation construction, ideally to National Grid standards.
3. Proficient in Primavera P6 (essential).
4. Familiarity with NEC contracts is advantageous.
5. Strong communication and organizational skills.
6. Right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
* Experience with National Grid processes and protocols.
