An exciting opportunity has arisen for an EC&I Commissioning Technician to join a nationally significant infrastructure project delivering one of the UKs most complex environmental engineering programmes. This long-term initiative plays a critical role in the safe processing, control, and monitoring of legacy waste, supporting the UKs clean-up and environmental safety commitments.
Working as part of the commissioning delivery team, you will be hands-on in testing, verifying, and bringing into service a wide range of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems including safety systems, process instrumentation, and control panels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain safety as the top priority, adhering to nuclear, radiological, conventional, and environmental safety standards.
2. Perform EC&I commissioning and testing activities at all stages of the project lifecycle.
3. Assist with the preparation and updating of commissioning documentation.
4. Support the implementation of First-Off Builds (FOBs) and Technical Queries (TQs).
5. Carry out system testing for third-party witnessing.
