Job Purpose:


The purpose of the role is to:
1. Assist the Procurement Excellence Director with maintaining and publishing governance controls and processes.
2. Support monitoring compliance of adherence to processes and help drive corrective action both internally and externally across third party suppliers (in conjunction with the owner of the commercial relationship).
3. Support with reporting and analysis across procurement spend and ESG requirements.
4. Provide Procurement function with insight on commodity trends and market analysis and support with supplier discovery.
5. Maintain quality of Procurement data used in source to contract/source to pay processes and assist with providing training to procurement teams.
6. Support with evaluation on tenders and sourcing events.

9. Internal contacts: Procurement, Sales, Commercial, Finance, Technical, NPD, Operations, Corporate Relations, Legal.
10. External contacts – Suppliers, customers.
11. Travel may be required.
Role Requirements

Principal Accountabilities:

12. Maintain governance tools and processes for procurement teams.
13. Responsible for quality of data used in source to contract/source to pay system.
14. Provide source to pay/source to contract process training to Procurement teams as required.
15. Assess, analyse and report on supplier performance and support procurement teams where required.
16. Manage the validation and collation of procurement metrics such as monthly savings, payment terms, rebate reports, tracking and support for supplier claims.
17. Assist with preparation of data for use at monthly business meetings.
18. Help identify new sources of supply for potential inclusion in tenders.
19. Provide support with cost modelling and spend analytics and with evaluation of tenders and/or sourcing events.
20. Manage the gathering and publishing of key market insights and benchmarks.
21. Support with the collation of information required for ESG and other regulatory requirements.




Qualifications/ Knowledge/ Experience
22. Good understanding of end-to-end procurement processes (S2P/S2C).
23. Degree in business related discipline or equivalent experience.
24. Minimum three years professional experience in an analyst or buying role.
25. Knowledge of supplier relationship management and continuous improvement programs.
26. Experienced in the use of Procurement related technologies such as source to pay, contract management systems and ERP systems such as SAP/SAP Ariba..
27. Aware of contracting processes and knowledge of key contractual elements such as liabilities and indemnities.

36. Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel/Word and Visio).
