Job summary
The Donor Care Healthcare Support Worker (DCHSW) is a core member of the multidisciplinary Clinical Donor Care Specialist Team. The DCHSW under the guidance and delegation of the Donor Care Specialist Nurse, is responsible for providing donor care support in line with appropriate clinical SOPs and guidelines to donors and collections teams across Wales.
Main duties of the job
Communicate effectively with a range of individuals to provide clinical support and guidance both verbal and written format.
Accurately enter outcomes, donor medical information and related Nursing documentation into a range of digital applications.
Ensure the provision of high-quality and safe donor care in line with organisational standard operating procedures.
Deliver clinical induction training to the Donor Contact Centre Advisors.
