Job Description
The key responsibilities for the role of Finance Analyst includes:
3. Prepare and post month-end journals, support month-end and year-end close processes, and generate management reports with clear commentary and analysis.
4. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, taking ownership of specific cost and revenue budgets while supporting financial review processes.
5. Provide insights, recommendations, and financial analysis to Finance Business Partners and budget holders to drive efficiencies and improve performance.
6. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data, monitor financial risks, and maintain compliance with regulations and internal processes.
7. Utilise financial systems and tools to streamline reporting, support decision-making, and assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Analyst will have:
8. Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
9. Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools.
10. Strong understanding of financial regulations and best practices.
11. Previous experience in a similar finance role is advantageous.
12. Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
