HR Coordinator
Start immediately, temp for 3 months with possible extension. Salary 34,000-36,000 GBP.
Our client is a well‑known not‑for‑profit innovative organisation in the centre of London.
Work schedule: 4 days in office, Fridays remote.
As a key member of the People Team, you will support the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to day‑to‑day HR operations—providing responsive and high‑quality service.
Reports to the Head of People.
Responsibilities
* Support end‑to‑end recruitment: advertising, shortlisting, interview coordination, and ensuring a positive candidate experience.
* Manage onboarding: pre‑employment checks, contracts, induction coordination, and safer recruitment requirements.
* Process employee lifecycle changes (new starters, leavers, contract variations) with accuracy across systems.
* Serve as first point of contact for HR queries via shared inboxes, responding promptly and escalating when necessary.
* Provide administrative support for low‑level employee relations matters, including sickness absence and routine casework.
* Support payroll processes by ensuring accurate and timely submission of employee data and changes.
* Maintain accurate HR records and support reporting and compliance requirements.
* Assist with wider People initiatives, policy updates, and projects as the team evolves.

* Confidence managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

* Strong communication skills and a professional, approachable manner.
* Discretion and ability to handle sensitive information with care.
* Desirable experience in an HR or administrative role.
Essential Requirements
* 3+ years in a coordinator role.
* CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent experience.
* Knowledge of basic UK employment law.
