Conveyancing Legal Secretary / Assistant
Chelmsford
£25,000 – £30,000 (depending on experience)
Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
We are currently seeking an experienced and highly organised Conveyancing Legal Secretary / Assistant to join a busy and friendly legal team based in Chelmsford
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing full secretarial and administrative support to fee earners within the conveyancing department
* Preparing legal documents, contracts, and correspondence
* Managing client files from instruction through to completion
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and solicitors
* Handling telephone and email enquiries in a professional manner ️
* Audio typing and general document production ️
* Diary management and scheduling appointments
Requirements:
* Previous experience in residential conveyancing is essential
* Strong administrative and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and client care abilities
* Fast and accurate typing skills ️
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management systems
