As a National Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role within a high‑performing sales team, managing a portfolio of wholesale and distributor customers whilst driving sustainable growth across a range of household‑name brands. This is a highly visible role offering exposure to senior stakeholders, significant commercial responsibility, and genuine opportunities for career progression.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of wholesale and distributor accounts, delivering profitable and sustainable growth across multiple product categories
* Develop and execute Joint Business Plans, identifying opportunities to increase distribution, sales performance, and customer engagement
* Build strong relationships with key external customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring collaborative delivery of commercial objectives
* Lead forecasting, promotional planning, and customer performance analysis to maximise opportunities and mitigate risks
* Work cross‑functionally with category, shopper marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to deliver best‑in‑class customer plans
* Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and support wider business growth initiatives
* Take ownership of customer performance, P&L delivery, and strategic account development

About You
* Minimum 2 years' experience within an FMCG sales or account management environment
* Experience managing customer relationships and delivering commercial objectives
* Must have managed a P&L
* Strong understanding of forecasting and budgeting
* Commercially astute with excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Confident communicator with the ability to influence both internally and externally
* Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously
* Proactive and self‑motivated, with a desire to continuously develop and progress
* Experience within wholesale, convenience, or distributor channels would be advantageous.
