The Sales Support & Systems Analyst is responsible for managing travel agent access to booking engines, API platforms, and providing expert technical and reporting support to internal and external stakeholders for Cunard, Princess Cruises, and P&O Cruises. The Analyst will work directly with and assist the Sales Support & Systems Manager to ensure systems continuously perform as expected—and when required—are developed through our local and international IT departments to enhance the experience for our travel agent partners. Additionally, the Analyst will be highly proficient in creating reports and able to use these to communicate recommendations on improvements. A flexible, resilient, and curious approach to problem solving is essential to ensure system and analytical support contribute to wider team and departmental goals. This pivotal role involves:
1. Managing the travel agent booking process and working with internal stakeholders to ensure booking engines, websites, and interfaces are available and appropriately developed for UK and international travel agents.
2. Facilitating the delivery of Carnival UK and global changes, representing travel agent partners to ensure effective project implementation.
3. Collaborating with UK and international IT teams to improve access, availability, and functionality of booking processes, especially during peak and non-peak campaign periods.
4. Handling user acceptance testing, security, access, and data control across sales support systems, including supporting internal audits.
5. Using strong MS Excel skills to generate bespoke reports (e.g., system usage, adherence, commercial reporting, trend analysis) supporting business goals and providing regular updates.
This role is positioned at CUK09 level, full-time, permanent, with hybrid work options including up to two days from home.
We are seeking candidates with:
* Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in Windows and related applications
* Ability to quickly learn in-house software packages
* Experience in report creation and data manipulation
* Experience presenting to stakeholders at various levels and sharing ideas
Ideal candidates will also have:
* Experience with SQL, Power BI, and API management
* Knowledge of systems development, including design, build, and user acceptance testing
* Experience in reviewing, designing, and documenting new processes
* Previous experience in the travel/cruise industry
