About the Role:
As a PE Teacher (Supply), you will deliver engaging practical and theory lessons, encourage participation across a wide range of sports, and maintain a positive, energetic learning environment. Responsibilities of a PE Teacher (Supply):
* Deliver high-quality PE lessons across various year groups.
* Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and skill development.
* Maintain an orderly, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
* Follow lesson plans provided by the school and adapt delivery when required.
* Manage classroom and field behaviour effectively following school policies.
* Support students during practical sessions, ensuring safe use of equipment.
* Build positive working relationships with pupils and staff.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), PGCE, or equivalent specialising in Physical Education.
* Experience teaching PE in UK schools.
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
* Experience coaching different UK sports.
* Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying abilities.
* A valid enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply through GSL.
