The Role
We are seeking an MEP Planner to support the successful delivery of mechanical and electrical building services projects. This position would suit an experienced MEP Planner or an M&E Project Engineer/Manager who has gained exposure to planning (including Asta Powerproject) and is looking to transition into a full-time planning role.
Working closely with project and commercial teams, you will be responsible for developing, managing and updating detailed programmes that drive performance across the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Produce and maintain integrated project programmes covering design, procurement, installation, commissioning and handover.
Monitor site progress, update schedules and highlight risks to key milestones.
Undertake critical path reviews and provide clear guidance to delivery teams on sequencing and mitigation strategies.
Support pre-construction activities including tender programmes and methodology input.
Ensure programmes align with contractual obligations and reporting requirements.
Prepare clear and accurate progress reports for internal and client stakeholders.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers and supply chain partners to ensure realistic and achievable schedules.
About You
Background in Mechanical & Electrical / Building Services projects.
Experience using Asta Powerproject.
Understanding of construction sequencing and commissioning processes within MEP environments.
Exposure to programme updates, short-term planning or tender planning.
Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with site teams and clients.
Relevant qualification in Building Services, Construction Management or similar (HNC/HND/Degree desirable but not essential).
