KS2 SEN Teacher - Burnley Prospero Teaching are working with a brilliant SEMH provision in Burnley who are currently looking for a full time, temp to perm teacher to plan and teach lessons to small groups and individual students. This provision has both primary and secondary aged students, but the curriculum you will be teaching is centred around KS2/Primary. QTS is a bonus, but at minimum you must have experience teaching, and knowledge around a primary curriculum. Experience with SEN (mainly around SEMH, ASD, ADHD) is required due to the needs of the students. Team Teach is advantageous, and you must be willing to undertake the course for this position, which we offer for free. This school caters for pupils who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Some students on roll also have autism, ADHD, ACES/Trauma & display challenging behaviour. You will be working mostly in a 1 to 1 and small group work capacity.
