About The Team
The Process Safety team forms part of our RPS Risk major accident hazard safety team of over 50 staff, providing safety advice to clients in a range of high risk and highly regulated industries.

What You Will Be Doing
* Facilitate and lead hazard study workshops including HAZOP/HAZID/ALARP/LOPA/FMEA.
* Lead the delivery of safety projects, ensuring completion on budget and to client satisfaction.
* Lead delivery of COMAH Safety Reports and conduct formal safety assessments, including quantitative risk assessments and occupied building risk assessments.
* Guide the development of Process Safety Management Systems.
* Lead on consequence, risk modelling, functional safety and machinery safety project scopes.
* Provide technical guidance, manage consultant teams to support project delivery and mentor junior staff.
* Identify and support opportunities for business and service development to drive growth.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships and operational frameworks with clients.
Who We Are Looking For
* Experienced in process safety techniques, e.g. HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, ALARP, CBA, OBRA, CFD, LOPA, COMAH.
* Possess in-depth knowledge of relevant UK regulations and standards, with the ability to apply them, also familiarity with other regulatory regimes.
* Proficient in technical report writing.
* Strong Leadership and teamwork skills.
Qualifications
* A degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
* Chartered Engineer.
