St George’s, Epsom and St Helier University Hospitals and Health Group cares for a population of four million people in South West London and North East Surrey. On-call arrangements
The post holder will be required to participate in a non-resident 1:12 on call rota and will provide on-call cover for Anaesthetics/HDU on the Epsom Hospital site.
Job plan and on-going development
The proposed job plan for this post is attached. This will be discussed in detail with the post holder on appointment and become operational. Job plans will be reviewed annually, following an appraisal meeting, and will be a prospective agreement that sets out a consultant’s typical working pattern, duties, objectives, and responsibilities for the coming year. It will cover all aspects of a consultant’s professional practice including clinical work, teaching, research, education, managerial responsibilities and external commitments. Additional programmed activities may be offered to the post holder. Any offer of additional programmed activities will be based on the needs of the service and in line with the Trust objectives and will be reviewed on an annual basis.
