Job Description
Pay Rate:£25-£30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
About the Role:As an SEN Tutor, you will provide one-to-one or small group support to students with a range of additional needs, including:
* ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder)
* ADHD
* SEMH needs
* Speech and Language difficulties
* Learning difficulties and additional support needs
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver personalised and engaging tuition sessions
* Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets
* Build positive relationships with students and families
* Support students' academic progress, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
* Monitor progress and provide feedback where required
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN
* Experience tutoring or teaching preferred
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Right to work in the UK
