This is a unique opportunity, and not your usual run in the mill Senior Brand manager opportunity… I am specifically wanting to hear from product focused, innovation heavy brand managers from medium and blue chip businesses who are looking for more autonomy, less red tape, and the ability to make a tangible difference. The food business I am working with have a rich heritage and recently were acquired by a global powerhouse in a similar space, with the aim of becoming number 1 in their category! This role manages a portfolio that is worth just as much as their major brands in RSV, so this is a high value role. The role works with an external partner in the food industry, and specifically produces NPD and EPD for its specific category in relation to what the master brand is doing. This might sound confusing but once I explain, it will all make sense – I promise! This role requires a super strong Brand Manager, or ideally a Senior Brand Manager from FMCG, who has strong commercial acumen, best in class stakeholder management, and a creative eye to drive growth! Responsibilities include… Lead the development of the 1-3 Year Vision & Strategy brand plan with execution of key brand activities identified in the brand planning process. Responsible for NPD launches from “ideation” through to project launch. Lead cross-functional project teams to manage projects to deliver to time, budget, quality and milestones. Day to day contact with project teams, both brand and License Partners Deliver against agreed P&L KPI’s – with regular monthly tracking vs budget and agreed in year targets. Ownership of brand consumer spend management, ensuring timely reporting, tracking and supplier payment. Lead the overall tracking and reporting of brand performance i.e. financial, customer and market, and supporting the development of action planning as an output of the findings. Effective management of business variances (packaging stocks, write offs etc) through close working with Operations. Lead the identification and implementation of Cost Based Recovery initiatives, working closely. You will … Be operating in a Brand or Senior Brand Role Be working in a Medium or Blue Chip organisation. Be a strong stakeholder manager Someone who can manage the stage gate process in order to deliver NPD and EPD from concept to launch. Have strong commercial acumen – experience with data such as Kantar and Neilsen. Have experience across a full 360 marketing role, as AMP is not a big focus, but there is budget to bring launches to life!
