About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Radiology NHS Fife. We are looking to appoint two Radiography Assistants to join our friendly team on a full‑time and part‑time basis. Radiology NHS Fife provides radiography services to the local population across five sites, offering a 7‑day service at multiple modalities including Ultrasound, CT, Breast Service and the General department.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical support for Radiologists, Radiographers, Sonographers and Mammographers, ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures.
* Work across the 7‑day service in different modalities such as Ultrasound, CT, Breast service and General department.
* Perform cannulation and take vital signs – essential skills for the role.
* Adapt to flexible working patterns, including extended days, weekends, public holiday rosters and travel between sites across NHS Fife.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Team player, enthusiastic and capable of working flexible hours.
* Previous experience within a radiology department and knowledge of the Radiology Information System; training will be provided.
* Capacity to travel and work efficiently across various NHS Fife locations.
* Commitment to the demands of an acute service provision and a flexible approach to working patterns.
