Senior Parts Advisor – Honda Huddersfield
About The Role
We are looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to join the team at our Honda dealership in Huddersfield.
Essentials (You Must Have)
* Experience working as a Parts Advisor who is ready for the next step in their career in a similar automotive parts environment.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong organisational and time‑management skills with the ability to prioritise workload.
* A customer‑focused approach with empathy, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist customers, technicians, and service advisors in identifying and sourcing the correct automotive parts.
* Ensure accurate ordering, storage, and supply of parts to support efficient workshop operations.
* Maintain up‑to‑date and accurate records of stock levels, orders, and parts movement.
* Provide clear and professional communication regarding parts availability, pricing, and alternatives.
* Support the service and workshop teams to ensure timely completion of vehicle repairs and servicing.
* Maintain a well‑organised and efficient parts department in line with company standards.
About You
* Previous experience in an automotive parts department or similar customer‑facing role.
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
* A proactive and team‑focused approach with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
* Confidence working with systems and processes to manage stock and orders accurately.
* A willingness to learn and develop within a fast‑paced dealership environment.
