As the Business Continuity & Resilience Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing, managing, and enhancing our Business Continuity Management System (BCMS). Your responsibilities will include designing, implementing, and reviewing business continuity strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the Fire & Rescue Service can effectively respond to and recover from disruptions. You will work closely with managers across the service and Warwickshire County Council, to develop Business Impact Analyses and Continuity Plans, providing subject matter expertise and support. Additionally, you will represent the service at local, regional, and national forums, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practices.
* Relevant certification in Business Continuity (e.g., Member of Business Continuity Institute, MBCI) or equivalent.
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in Business Continuity, covering all six professional areas, including risk management, crisis management, and auditing.
* Detailed understanding of the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and related legislation.
* Experience in producing mid and long-term plans, managing risk assessments, Business Impact Analyses, and Business Continuity Plans.
* Ability to design, deliver, and facilitate training packages, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
