About the role Guild Care have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and motivated Home Care Manager or Deputy Manager seeking career growth to become a registered manager within 6months and lead our Home Care service and help shape its future. In the role you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of a very respected and known care service. Guild Care’s Home Care service is a welcoming, passionate and kind team who cover a small geographical area in West Sussex. As a driver there will be no long car journeys and a central office space in Worthing town centre. Working closely with the Head of Home Care, you will inspire and lead a dedicated home care team as well as assist in growing and developing the service. And of course, keeping the people we support at the heart of everything you do. Leading, motivating and supporting the domiciliary care team Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and contractual requirements Overseeing quality audits, safeguarding, medication and health & safety Managing care plans, risk assessments, records and electronic rostering Driving and growing the service while managing budgets, income and expenditure Who we’re looking for Essential: Relevant professional qualification ( minimum Health & Social Care Level 3 QCF Diploma in Leadership – Level 5 preferred) Strong understanding of the CQC regulatory framework Management experience within domiciliary care Passion for supporting older people, including those living with dementia Full driving licence and car If you’re ready to lead with heart, make a real impact, and help shape a service that delivers care with love and respect, we’d love to hear from you.
