This role is ideal for a university student undertaking a placement year as part of their degree. You’ll gain hands‑on experience supporting sales operations, working closely with internal teams, business partners, and customers across Europe. This position involves regular collaboration with international colleagues and partners, and may include occasional travel to events or exhibitions.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist on the execution of robust business plans related to both Lenovo’s strategy and the retailers.
* Support the sales team to achieve market share growth within the existing accounts base.
* Aid in the management of key seasonal promotional periods and opportunities.
* Responsible for the process of raising, management and closing of promotions. (SCRUBS)
* Engagement with customer at all levels including senior management to completely understand their business drivers.
* Conduct competitive analysis by customer and present back findings.
* Track and understand Lenovo’s competitive position within the Market.
* Ensure Retailers comply with the product period.
* Management of the claims process through the wider Finance Team.
* Maintain and update key documents for the Account Managers to use.
* Track stock levels across multiple accounts.
* Gain a clear and in-depth understanding of how the Lenovo Consumer Business operates.
* Ireland and AO (Day to day admin plus opportunity to A/M gaining better experience in managing accounts)
* Support management of the Promotional Plans using the Lenovo Promo Calendar in conjunction with stock and sales from Distribution.
Position Requirements
* Currently enrolled in a university program and on track to achieve at least a 2:1 degree classification (or local equivalent).
* Completion of a mandatory internship or placement year as part of your academic program.
* Prior experience in a professional or volunteer setting (paid or unpaid).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft D365).
* Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.
* Positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to learning.

Lenovo Intelligent Devices Group (IDG) is seeking a self‑motivated intern for OEM Solutions Market Development team. You will work with a cross‑functional global team that includes OEM Market Development, Portfolio, ISV Partners and Sales leaders to work on new value proposition content development and market development research for our vertical strategy. Edge AI is a major focus area for our OEM Business growth, and we are looking for someone who is eager to explore this area as well as leverage AI tools where needed.
Responsibilities
* Market Intelligence: Conduct comprehensive research on emerging industry trends and 'white space' opportunities within the OEM landscape.
