Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Pay Rate: £ – £110 per day
Location: Littleborough
Contract: (Full-time / Part-time / Temporary / Long-term)
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties
2. Provide one-to-one and small group support in and out of the classroom
3. Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and behaviour management
4. Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and support strategies
5. Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Requirements
6. Proven experience working with children with SEN
7. Strong understanding of different SEN needs and support strategies
8. Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
9. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
10. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
11. Relevant qualifications or training in education or SEN (desirable)
