We are seeking a motivated Technical Sales Consultant (UK) to join our client's growing Histology Division. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in laboratory sales who is ready to take ownership of a South West territory and drive commercial growth.
About the Role
* As Technical Sales Consultant, you will:
* Develop and maintain strong customer relationships across NHS, private, research, and industry labs.
* Identify new opportunities through solution-based selling and create demand on territory.
* Deliver customer presentations, product demonstrations, and training.
* Provide technical aftersales support, including troubleshooting and equipment servicing.
* Manage a structured territory plan with accurate CRM record-keeping, forecasting, and reporting.
* Work towards and exceed sales volume, revenue, and product mix targets.
* Attend key industry exhibitions and congresses to monitor market trends and competitor activity.
What We're Looking For
* Degree in biological science (preferably cellular pathology) or relevant experience.
* Minimum 2 years' sales experience in a laboratory setting.
* Solid understanding of NHS procurement and Managed Laboratory Services.
* Strong knowledge of histology processes and laboratory workflows.
* Proven skills in negotiation, territory planning, and account management.
* Confident communicator with excellent presentation and training skills.
