About The Role
Working in our Technical Services mobile team on a Major Retail contract with opportunities to support other Commercial and Residential contracts in our continually expanding division.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPMs are completed within the contract-defined time SLAs & KPIs.
* Contribute to overall efficiency, effectiveness, and contract profitability, supporting the delivery of services.
* Support the implementation of an integrated approach for the delivery of all contracted services, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
* Provide on-call cover on average 1 in 8 weeks.
* Plan, inspect, and carry out repairs or preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns promptly.
* Perform building fabric repairs, small plumbing, joinery, and other maintenance tasks.
* Assist the maintenance team with facilities work as required.
* Provide quotations for recommended works.
* Follow safe systems of work prior to commencing activities.
* Ensure site cleanliness and high standards, including general handyman services and L8 compliance.
* Liaise with subcontractors, cleaners, and security to ensure effective facilities management.
* Respond to client callouts as per rota, on average 1 in 4 weeks.
Essential Hiring Criteria
* Time-served Fabric engineer with maintenance background.
* Skills in Carpentry, Painting & Decorating, Door Hanging, Carpet/Lino repairs, Glazing, Masonry, Locksmithing, Tiling, and ceiling grids/tiles.
* L8 ACOP certification.
* Knowledge of safety documentation and site safety procedures.
* Legionella awareness.
* CSCS Skills card or equivalent.
* First Aid certification.
* Valid driving licence.
* Basic IT skills, including Excel and Microsoft Office.
