Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Operational EPR team.
This role will lead a small operational team in operational delivery and design of pathways aligned to the Trust’s EPR system.
You will act as the senior Operational link to ensure appropriate engagement of current and future pathways. The role will also lead on operational preparation for EPR go live and the impact on hospital operations – such as proactively managing leave with clinical teams and reviewing activity to minimise any disruption to service delivery and operational performance.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience translating complex digital information into simple terms to support communicating with all stakeholders; whilst understanding of current IT systems, operational patient flows and performance targets.
The Trust is looking for a credible candidate that can demonstrate resilience and leadership in a time of significant change for the Trust, and to be pro‑active and self‑motivated with evidence of successful change management.

Person specification
Qualifications
* Educated to a degree level; (preferably in Management) Or equivalent professional experience.
* Specialist knowledge across a range of work procedures including RTT
* ILM Level 5 in Team Leading
Experience
* Previous clerical experience
* Working in an NHS/clinical environment e.g. hospital, GP surgery, CCG
* Supervision and the development of staff
* Operational management or sufficient experience of a service on a day‑to‑day basis
* Managing Administrative functions within a large complex organisation
* Managing a change process
* Holding budgetary responsibility
* Formal performance management of staff
* Managing sickness absence and conduction of performance or capability investigations
Skills & Knowledge
* Knowledge of Trust procedures
* Thorough understanding of NHS performance targets
* Knowledge of patient flow
* Ability to promote good working liaisons (staff, patients, relatives
