Role Purpose The Healthcare Assistant (HCA) provides compassionate, hands-on personal care and support to patients across hospital, clinical and community environments. Key Responsibilities 1. Personal Care & Daily Support Assist with washing, dressing, toileting and personal hygiene. Support mobility and use of equipment. 2. Clinical Support Take observations (BP, pulse, temperature). Assist with basic clinical tasks under supervision. 3. Emotional Support Provide reassurance, dignity and companionship. 4. Infection Control & Safety Follow infection prevention guidelines.
