If you've come from a sporting background, chances are you already know how to motivate others, communicate under pressure, and lead by example. Now imagine using those skills in a classroom. We're working with a number of secondary schools across Gosport and the surrounding areas, looking for enthusiastic and confident Sports Graduates to step into Cover Supervisor roles. No teaching experience? No problem. You don't need to have worked in schools before - we're far more interested in your attitude, energy, and ability to lead a group. We'll provide the training and support to help you feel confident from day one. As a Cover Supervisor, you'll help keep learning on track when teachers are absent. Your role will involve: - Delivering lessons using pre-prepared materials - Keeping students engaged and focused - Managing behaviour calmly and professionally - Following school policies and routines - Providing feedback to teaching staff after lessons No two days are the same, making this a fast-paced and rewarding role for people who enjoy being active and working with others. Many of the skills developed through sport transfer naturally into the classroom, including: - Leadership and teamwork - Confidence speaking in front of groups - Resilience and adaptability - Staying calm under pressure - Building positive relationships Whether you've studied sport, coached teams, or simply enjoy being in active environments, this role can be a brilliant stepping stone into education and beyond. A lot of our Cover Supervisors go on to teacher training after gaining classroom experience.
