History Teacher – Middlesbrough Location: Middlesbrough Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Supply / Long-term Start Date: ASAP Protocol Education is working with secondary schools across Middlesbrough to recruit a History Teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across KS3 and KS4. This role is suitable for QTS-qualified teachers, ECTs, and experienced cover supervisors or teaching assistants with strong History subject knowledge. The Role: Deliver engaging and well-structured History lessons. Provide effective classroom cover when required. Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students. Maintain strong behaviour management and a positive learning environment. Support students’ understanding of historical concepts and critical thinking skills. The Ideal Candidate: Holds QTS or has relevant classroom experience in History (teachers, cover supervisors, or TA cover). Confident teaching History across KS3–KS4.
