Centrepoint, the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, is looking for Support and Progression Officer to join our Quarry View Team based in Barnsley.
About Centrepoint
Centrepoint helps vulnerable young people by giving them the practical and emotional support they need to find a job and live independently. Centrepoint provides homeless young people with accommodation, health support and life skills in order to get them back into education, training and employment. We want to end youth homelessness by 2037.
Together with our partners, we support over 16,000 young people each year.
Quarry View
Quarry View is a semi-independent supported accommodation service for young people aged 18-25, staffed 24/7 by a dedicated team working on a four-week rolling rota. We are committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where young individuals can build self-worth, grow in confidence, and develop essential skills for independent living and positive social interaction.
Our aim is to empower young people as they transition to independence by equipping them with a broad range of life skills—including readiness for independent living, education and training, and employment. One of the key ways we do this is through engaging, accredited in-house modules such as Life Wise, which provide practical and relevant training in a supportive setting.
At Quarry View, we strive to offer more than just accommodation—we provide a holistic experience that fosters personal growth and a sense of home.
