About the Role

Chef De Partie, Hotel Du Vin

Rate of Pay / Hours: £13.15/hour, 40 Hours/week

Type of Contract: Full time, permanent

Location: Winchester

Hotel Du Vin is looking for Chef De Parties with Immediate Starts available.


Experience, Skills, And Abilities

* Previous experience as a chef de partie or line cook in a high-volume kitchen
* Strong background in a specific culinary area such as pastry, grill, sauté, or pantry
* Experience in working in a team-oriented environment and collaborating with other kitchen staff
* Excellent culinary skills and proficiency in a specific culinary station
* Ability to follow recipes / SOP’s accurately and consistently produce high-quality dishes
* Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
* Proficiency in using kitchen equipment and tools
* Excellent time management and organisational skills
* Effective communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
* Ability to take direction from sous chefs and Head Chef and assist in the overall kitchen operation
* Ability to train and mentor junior kitchen staff
* Ability to maintain a clean and organised work station
* Ability to collaborate with other departments such as food and beverage, banquet, and catering
