Your rewards as Site Compliance and Development Engineer: Salary of £47,000 pa Pay boosted by annual profit share Great job security in a permanent contract working Mon-Fri 07:00 to 15:00 Plenty of chance to develop your career Comprehensive induction and orientation program A full package of lifestyle benefits covering pension, health, company discounts, drink allowance and more Access to our well equipped free on-site gym The chance to join a Sunday Times Best 100 Places to Work employer Opportunity to contribute to our ambitious sustainability plan A friendly welcome and all the support you need to succeed Key responsibilities: Role Model Health & Safety To coordinate the engineering aspects of capital and engineering improvement projects to ensure successful delivery of objective on time, in full, and on budget without impact on product quality or efficiency SME & direct reporting line for WPP & recycling centre Site maintenance activities & budgetary responsibilities Ensure completion of site calibration plans and engineering regulatory compliance activities to schedule Innovative problem solving and improvement activities to ensure business continuity Provide administrative support for Engineering Team To deputise for Site Engineering Manager as required Update Drawing & Supporting Documents • Writing / reviewing / permits & updating SOPs, RA, ECRs with Engineering Manager Key knowledge and attributes you must have: 5 years engineering experience in FMCG or similar environment WAMITAB and NEBOSH qualification Training will be provided. Highly organised, self directed with a ability to prioritise, project manage and schedule engineering works Qualified engineer with working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, compressed air, cooling systems, mechanical systems and water systems Working knowledge/ experience of bench work: welding, fabrication etc Ability to influence colleagues and suppliers for successful project outcomes Working knowledge of Engineering Regulatory compliance requirements i.e. PSSR, LOLA etc Comfortable chairing meetings and presenting technical information Strong IT skills– Ability to use MS applications, competent with CAD, ERP, data analysis and reporting Collaborative mindset To be successful in the role of Compliance and Development Engineer with Hall & Woodhouse you would need to share our values of Ambition, Dedication, Integrity, Kindness and Teamwork, we'd like you to demonstrate this as part of the selection process.
