Full-Time Behaviour Mentor - Secondary Schools (Croydon)

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Croydon. This is a full-time, 5-day per week position, ideal for someone committed to making a meaningful impact on students' behaviour, engagement, and emotional development.

The Role:
Providing 1:1 and small-group behaviour support to students who require additional guidance
Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, engagement, and positive behaviour strategies
Working closely with teaching staff, SEN teams, and pastoral leads to implement behaviour plans
Acting as a positive role model and building strong, trusting relationships with students
Helping students overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar behaviour-focused role is essential
Experience working with secondary-aged pupils
Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
Calm, resilient, and empathetic approach
Ability to work consistently and confidently within a school setting
