Steventon House Hotel is an 18-bedroom boutique hotel with beautiful gardens, flexible event spaces and an on-site restaurant.
We are entering a new growth phase and rebuilding our digital presence from the ground up. Our social media has been dormant, and we are launching fresh campaigns to increase weddings, events, corporate bookings and restaurant covers.
We are looking for an energetic, commercially minded Sales & Marketing Executive to help drive measurable revenue growth.
This is not just a content-posting role. Your work must generate enquiries and bookings.
The Role
You will work closely with the owner to build visibility, attract new customers and increase sales across weddings, corporate bookings, restaurant covers and events.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone confident, creative and proactive — someone who takes ownership and delivers results.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Growth (Major Focus)
* Launch and grow TikTok from scratch
* Manage Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
* Create engaging Reels and short-form video content
* Film and edit content showcasing weddings, food, events and behind-the-scenes activity (smartphone content expected — professional equipment not required)
* Develop and manage a consistent content calendar
* Monitor performance and optimise content to drive enquiries
Digital Marketing & Email Campaigns
* Plan, create and manage email marketing campaigns (Mailchimp or similar platforms)
* Build and segment email lists to drive repeat business and event enquiries
* Support automated follow-up sequences for weddings and corporate leads
* Track campaign performance and improve open and conversion rates
Website & Online Presence
* Update website content and seasonal offers
* Optimise Google Business Profile
* Support SEO and local search visibility
* Ensure online listings and promotional messaging remain accurate and compelling
Brand & Promotional Materials
* Design and update in-house brochures, menus and promotional materials using Canva or similar tools
* Support the launch of seasonal campaigns and events
Local Outreach & Campaign Support
* Contact local businesses and business parks to introduce corporate packages
* Build relationships with local partners and suppliers
* Assist in organising open evenings for corporates and suppliers
* Support promotional campaigns to fill quieter midweek dates
* Follow up warm leads where required
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience growing social media accounts (links required)
* Strong short-form video skills (Reels / TikTok / Instagram)
* Confident creating content using smartphone video or digital camera
* Experience managing email marketing campaigns
* Comfortable using Canva or similar design tools
* Commercial mindset — you think in bookings, not just likes
* Self-motivated and able to work independently
Hospitality experience is desirable but not essential. Demonstrated results are more important.
