Junior Application Support Engineer
Salary: Up to 30,000 + Benefits
Our client is seeking a Junior Application Support Engineer to join their IT team. You will be responsible for providing software support on a range of bespoke systems.
This role requires working 3 days on-site and 2 days from home. Candidates must be able to commute to the site 3 days per week to be considered.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide first-line support for IT, application, and software issues via phone, email, or chat.
2. Log incidents and requests accurately in the ticketing system.
3. Troubleshoot network, connectivity, and performance issues.
4. Escalate complex issues to senior engineers and follow up on resolutions.
5. Collaborate with IT teams to resolve technical issues efficiently.
6. Assist with system maintenance, script troubleshooting, and ensuring data integrity.
Key Skills & Experience
* Understanding of ITIL, Active Directory, and JIRA.
* SQL experience.
* Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting, Windows, and Linux OS.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* Customer-focused with the ability to work independently.
* Motivated to learn and grow in the IT support field.
