Job Description
Industry leading global manufacturer seeks Director for Global Talent Acquisition. This role will directly report to the Vice President of Global Talent and DE&I, and will oversee the Talent Acquisition team, which comprises a team of two full time employees, and a wider recruitment and research team.
Main duties and responsibilities will include the following:
1. Formulates and executes a strategy for Global Talent Acquisition aimed at achieving optimal approaches for identifying, evaluating, and selecting highly qualified and diverse talent.
2. Foresees organizational staffing needs, predicts staffing gaps, and develops proactive strategies for both short-term and long-term staffing solutions.
3. Supervises the activities of the Talent Acquisition team throughout the entire hiring process, which encompasses establishing service level agreements with hiring managers and HR personnel, devising and executing a comprehensive sourcing strategy, and attracting top-tier talent
4. Applies EEO (Equal Employment Opportunity), AAP (Affirmative Action Plan), and compliance strategies and objectives to ensure EEO compliance while striving to meet diverse talent sourcing targets.
5. Monitors and oversees the tracking of critical Talent Acquisition metrics and benchmarks, including weekly, quarterly, and periodic metrics related to recruitment, sourcing, retention, and other significant aspects. This will involve close collaboration with the HR data analytics team.
6. Cultivates and manages relationships with pertinent external entities, which includes selecting vendors, negotiating contracts, and overseeing outsourcing and supplier management, all geared towards fulfilling talent acquisition and workforce hiring objectives.
7. Takes charge of the annual operating budget for talent acquisition and strategically allocates resources to effectively meet hiring targets.
8. Evaluates recruitment and placement procedures to guarantee a positive experience during interviews and onboarding for all prospective hires.
Please note that there will be a moderate amount of travel involved with this role, with between 6 and 8, one week long trips per year. This will be to visit the various sites around the US and Europe.
