The Role
To be responsible for planning all logistics projects and/or day-to-day projects from start to finish. Improving and optimising current processes including process times within operational day-to-day tasks (MTM data), cost savings and logistical resources associated with each project/process. Will also be responsible for any analytical work requested by the management and presenting it in a precise and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify weaknesses within the Operation: Including Cost, Quality, Process; analyse the root cause for weaknesses and failure; develop robust solutions and communicate to all stakeholders.
* Implementation of changes – physical and providing the data for maintenance to system specialists, Go‑Live support (All shifts), VPS/Lean, organize, guide and coach the team and Operations on VPS/Lean principles, promote 5S within their actions.
* Plan and implement agreed standards that the Operation can easily sustain; logistics optimisation based on the above principles.
* Work with other departments on projects led by them or internally.
* Provide critical thinking and analysis of changes and their effect on the Operation; communicate internally and externally on all changes/risks.
* Maintain documents showing area layouts and update according to new projects & publish where required.
* Deliver projects from start to finish.
* Delegate tasks to Operations during project implementation.
* Document new processes related to projects.
* Support individual tasks from Senior Management.
* Steer project tasks and complete relevant documents.
* Provide Go‑Live support.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Essential
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Proficient in Time and Motion Calculations.
* Ability to work independently to gather information, identify missing or inaccurate data/processes.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment, prioritise workload.
* Time‑management skills.
* Ability to identify waste in the process and ways to improve it.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Self‑motivated with a "can‑do" attitude.
* Good numerical skills.
Desirable/Advantageous
* MTM Base & SOL certificate and experience beneficial.
* Previous exposure to working with data and numbers.
* Analytical mindset when dealing with provided data.
* Ability to work independently, be proactive and persistent.
* Strong work ethics, organized and hardworking.

* Up to £45,000 depending on experience.
