Commercial Lead
* Position: Project Director
* Location and Schedule: Bristol/HPC - 1 day on HPC site, 2 days in client offices, rest working from home. Travel and expenses paid, including accommodation if needed.
* Type: Permanent, full-time with flexible working and core hours.

The Commercial Lead will manage contracts, support electronic contract management systems, and oversee contract and risk management planning.

Key Responsibilities:
* Operate with NEC 3 (Options A, C, E) and FIDIC contracts
* Issue/review early warning notices
* Manage stakeholder relationships
* Assess and price compensation events
* Prepare monthly commercial reports
* Update risk registers
* Review project programmes
* Issue payment certificates and evaluate works valuation

Candidate Profile:
* Experience in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management; nuclear/civil engineering experience is a plus but not essential
* Knowledge of procurement, supply chain, cost, and commercial management, including NEC and Public Contract Regulations 2015
* HNC, HND, or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Law, or related field; alternative backgrounds like Engineering may be considered
* Membership of RICS, CIOB, CICES, CIPS, or similar is desirable
* Strong commercial decision-making skills and stakeholder management abilities
