We are looking for a Senior Designer or Interior Architect to join our talented team, based in our UK-south studio. As a Lead Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualising and executing innovative design solutions across all the RIBA stages. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with clients to understand their requirements, developing design concepts, creating detailed drawings and ensuring the projects meet budget and timeline constraints. You will also work closely with other members of the design and construction teams to ensure a seamless delivery process.
Overview
NHQ is seeking a Senior Designer or Interior Architect to join the UK-south studio. The Lead Designer will conceptualise and execute innovative design solutions across all RIBA stages, work with clients to understand requirements, develop concepts, create drawings, and ensure projects meet budget and schedule constraints. Collaboration with design and construction teams is essential to deliver a seamless process.
Qualifications
Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
* Bachelors degree (minimum) in Interior Architecture, Interior Design or similar
* Experience in design management and team collaboration
* Detailed knowledge of the commercial workspace fit-out sector
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
* Experience with both traditional design consultancy as well as D&B methodology preferred
