Job Summary
Cherrybrook Care Home is seeking a caring Urdu-speaking Care Assistant to support an elderly resident who speaks only Urdu. Cherrybrook understand that language is about comfort and connection, and want someone who can help this resident feel safe, understood, and truly at home.
This role is based at: Cherrybrook Care Home, 580 Sticker Ln, Bradford, BD4 8RD.

Main Responsibilities
• Support residents with personal care, meals, and daily routines.
• Promote dignity, independence, and choice at all times.
• Use Urdu language skills to build trust and support emotional wellbeing.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
• Provide a calm, reassuring presence during daily activities and conversations.
Essential Skills
• Relevant qualification such as NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or a Care Certificate.
• Care experience of 6–12 months in a care home, ideally supporting older people or those with dementia.
• Calm, caring attitude with a genuine passion for helping others.
