How you’ll power our business as an EC&I Technician
As an EC&I Technician, you will support the installation, maintenance, testing, and fault-finding of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems while developing the technical skills and hands‑on experience needed to work independently across a range of industrial environments.
Travel requirements around the UK are part of this role and candidates must be flexible to accommodate this.
What we’ll need from you
* Basic understanding of PLC functioning
* Basic understanding of installation and commissioning of Hazardous Area Electrical systems.
* Understanding of instrument calibration, Inspection and Testing of a wide range of instrumentation: Pressure, level, flow, temperature (Analogue & Digital)
* Basic understanding of engineering documentation (Functional Design Specification (FDS), User Requirements Specification (URS)
* Experience on IT literacy, particularly Microsoft Excel & Office.
* Committed, persuasive and personable with fluent written and verbal communication skills
* Good fault finding and problem-solving skills
