Location: Towcester, Northamptonshire
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:00 to 15:45
What will you be responsible for?
As a Ganger, you'll be working within the Kier Transportation team, supporting them in delivering safe, high-quality, and efficient highway maintenance and construction works.
Your day to day will include:
* Leading a team of operatives to carry out complex specialist tasks, referring to technical manuals and drawings
* Managing daily site operations, ensuring safety for both operatives and the public
* Conducting point of work risk assessments and maintaining safe working procedures
* Overseeing the use and maintenance of specialist equipment in line with PUWER regulations
* Providing guidance and training to colleagues while ensuring compliance with Kier's HSEQ standards
What are we looking for?
This role of Ganger is great for you if:
* You have experience leading teams and delivering under pressure in a demanding environment
* You hold an SMSTS/SSSTS or similar qualification
* You have a full UK driving licence
