Essential Competencies and Qualifications
* 17th / 18th Edition Certification
* Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Card
* National Grid Person - Substation
* National Grid Competent Person - Substation
* EUSR Safety Health and Environmental Awareness - Gas
* Safe Control of Operations 1 & 2 (SCO 1 & 2) - Gas
* Safe Control of Operations 91 (SCO 91) – Gas
* Emergency First Aid at Work – (EFAW)
* Good communication skills in both verbal and written English.
* Computer literate in basic IT skills.
* Good observational skills especially for Health, Safety and Quality issues.
* Ability to recognise, manage and shift priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
* Focus on all safety, environmental and quality issues on the construction site.
* Professional interface with all levels of personnel.
* Aims and objectives achieved in a safe manner.
* Professional approach and manner at all times.
* Flexible during periods of change.
* Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources.
* Effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a high‑pressure environment.
